Dwarves

Dwarves, also referred to as Gespri, consist of two distinct subraces, Foundry Dwarves and Auziers. Native to the frozen peaks of Sky’s Shoulders in Gesprin, dwarves tend towards scholarly, monastic, and mystical pursuits. They spend their years gazing deep into the physical and spiritual mysteries of the cosmos, searching for enlightenment, guidance, and satiation for their curiosity. Inspired by their revered Ancestor, the Seer, dwarves strive to emulate her distance from the short-sighted concerns of mortals, accepting however, that they themsleves are mortal and must provide for the continued betterment of their xenophobic existence. Dwarves out of all the Pure keep most out of the mundane matters of Kedrana, but the insights they gleam from their observatories and clairvoyants lend weight to the political and economic machinations of Gesprin. Foundry Dwarves make up most of the labor force in Gesprin, they have a particular knack for lightning metallurgy, the secret technique behind the refineries and forges from which their stone and metal resources are produced. Auziers make up the bulk of the Gespri nobility, spending a greater percentage of their time in contemplation, and focus on running the various Boards which drive the legal and economic systems in Gesprin. Both varieties of dwarf are heavily involved in Gespri politics, although given the choice, generally focus on matters at home than concern themselves with the broader world.

Aerie Dweller: You are acclimated to high altitude, including elevations above 20,000 feet. You are also naturally adapted to cold climates, as described in chapter 5 of the Dungeon Master’s Guide (Replaces the Stonecunning feature found in the PHB)
Contemplative Nature: You gain proficiency in either the Arcana or Religion skill (Replaces the Tool Proficiency feature found in the PHB)
Languages: Common and Auran (Replaces the Languages feature found in the PHB)

Foundry Dwarf

Storm Craftsman: You have advantage on saving throws against lightning, and you have resistance to lightning damage (Replaces the Dwarven Resilience feature found in the PHB)
All else as Hill Dwarf found in the PHB

Auzier

Ability Score Increase: Your Intelligence score increases by 2 (Replaces the Ability Score Increase found in the PHB)
Master of the North: You have advantage on saving throws against cold, and you have resistance to cold damage (Replaces the Dwarven Resilience feature found in the PHB)
Heaven’s Sight: Whenever you make an Intelligence (History) check related to the nature of the cosmos, you are considered proficient in the history skill and add double your proficiency bonus to the check, instead of your normal proficiency bonus (Replaces the Dwarven Armor Training feature found in the PHB)
All else as Mountain Dwarf found in the PHB
